Incoming Exchange Application
Thank you for your interest in studying at MTSU! Once Pre-Approved, you will receive an email from the MTSU Office of Education Abroad to proceed with your application for admission. Please do not apply before you are Pre-Approved.
1. Click on https://www.mtsu.edu/how-to-apply/ Once your initial application is processed, you will be assigned an MTSU ID number (M Number) and MTSU Email address.

- Financial Support Form and documentation from your bank, home university, government, etc.
- College Transcript (can be unofficial)
- Passport
- English Test Results (Only if you are from a non-English institution)

- Residential (housing) Life Application (The Office of Education Abroad will ask Housing to save housing spots for exchange students; however, it is critical to submit your housing application online ASAP)
- Course Selection Form
- Submit health records on your Patient Portal-MTSU Health Services: (Tuberculosis screening, Meningitis, Varicella (Chicken Pox), MMR-Measles, Mumps, and Rubella (Only for students living on campus and under age of 22), Hepatitis B)---If you have any questions or need help with accessing the portal, please contact mthealth@mtsu.edu
