CIEE Business, Economics, and Culture Program in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil 

Hosting the Olympic Games is big business – just look to Rio de Janeiro as it prepares for the 2016 Summer Olympics. See for yourself how one event can reshape an entire country’s economy in a city getting ready to take the world’s stage on CIEE’s Business, Economics, and Culture program. Improve your Portuguese by leaps and bounds, take a variety of courses from econometrics to marketing at a local university, and get to know the culture by living with a local family and going on tours of local businesses.

  • Study with a local institute whose respected academic departments of economics and business administration, have strong ties to the business sector and centers of economic policy and influence on both local and national levels
