Students who want to participate on an MTSU Exchange program must first request online pre-approval (as stated in Step 4 of the Getting Started section of our website) and then submit the Preliminary Application for Exchanges by deadline listed on the form. Interested students should consult with Dr. Roger Pieroni regarding the academics.
As part of an exchange between MTSU and the University of Caen, students can participate in a semester or year Normandy program, studying at the International Language School.

Capital of a region renowned throughout the world (Lower Normandy) and city of William the Conqueror, the city of Caen is ideal for cultural and touristic adventures. Its geographical location between land and sea and being only 2 hours away from Paris makes Caen a city ready to meet challenges.
Students can take French immersion courses, written and oral expression (determined according to Placement Test). Advanced students may take courses in French contemporary culture, Europe, Art, Communication & Media, and Business French. The second semester option in Caen features teaching English for 7 hours/week to French secondary students.
Students will pay MTSU tuition fees. Students will also pay room and board (meals) fees to MTSU, while receiving the equivalent abroad.
